The Wolf solves the problem presented by background noise - in this case from the trading floor - which can obscure the speaker's voice, making it impossible for the voice recognition system to correctly process speech. Using patented UmeVoice technology, The Wolf "devours" background noise. A client on the phone with the trader will experience perfectly clear sound, just as the recognition software does.
The Wolf is an elegant, acoustically (i.e.shape) based solution. It does not require any rewiring. Simply unscrew the mouthpiece on the (G3 type) handset, and screw on The Wolf in its place!
The Ears Box integrates with trading turrets and is connected to both the trader's handset and the computer. It thus allows the trader to use a single handset for both talking to clients on the telephone and communicating with the computer through voice commands. The trader activates the system by pressing a button on the handset itself to transition from speaking to a client on the phone to giving voice commands to the system (or vice-versa).
The Ears Box also improves recognition. After the Trader's voice passes through the handset, the Ears Box modulates it to match it to the specifications of the microphone used in data collection for the recognition engine.
