Decide which ear you want to wear theBoom on. If theBoom is configured for the other ear, you will need to remove the boom and turn the magnet base around, then reattach the boom. Do not disconnect the EarWrap from theBoom until custom fit is attained.

1. Swivel EarWrap up.

We urge you to try your Boom. Crank up the stereo in your room, and leave a message on your voicemail, speaking softly. Check your message. You will hear yourself clearly. If you don’t, make sure you have positioned the microphone close to your mouth (within an inch of your lips).

   2. Position theBoom's
       EarWrap next to your ear
       so that the speaker is
       facing the ear canal and the
       microphone is as close to
       you mouth as possible.

   3. Pull down the EarWrap to
       hug the contours of your
       ear. Make a tight fit.

   4. Apply firm pressure on the
       Rear Stabilizer so it fits
       against the side of your
       head.

5. Make sure you are using the proper cord (different cords for different
cell phones).
